The profit obtained is the second-highest in the history of the professional football management company of Benfica, only exceeded by the €44.5 million recorded in 2016/17, in what is the sixth consecutive year of profits.
As for the operating result, there was an improvement of 8.8%, to €35.3 million, according to figures made available to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
Benfica SAD's revenues amounted to €263.3 million, a new maximum, and, in consolidated terms, the SLB Group exceeds for the first time the €300 million in revenue, benefiting from the increase in income from UEFA.
The accounts presented include the transfers of Raúl Jiménez, Jovic and Talisca, while the sale of João Félix to Atlético Madrid for €126 million this summer will only be accounted for in the results for next year.
Assets grew 3.2% to €500.8 million, while liabilities fell 3.4% to €384.6 million. And equity rose almost 34% to €116.2 million, exceeding for the first time the share capital of Benfica SAD (€115 million), created in 2000.
