This message was posted by António Costa on his official Twitter account to mark the International Day of People with Disabilities.
"Today is the International Day of People with Disabilities. Inclusion is made of concrete measures such as the Social Benefit for Inclusion, created in the previous legislature, which already has more than 100,500 beneficiaries, or as the Support Model Independent Life," wrote Antonio Costa.
The prime minister added that in the current legislature the government wants to "give priority for accessibility, with a new ambition to do more and better for a more inclusive Portugal".
As happened in the previous executive headed by António Costa, the current XXII Constitutional Government has a Secretariat of State for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities, which has been occupied since 2015 by Ana Sofia Antunes.
