The chain wants to introduce 100 new national products in its stores next year.
The direct channel will allow small regional producers to present their products to the chain for sale in its more than 200 stores nationwide.
Da Minha Terra accepts applications until October 31.

That's very good news. Hopefully all other supermarkets will follow. I personally only buy national fresh produce. Simply check the labels.

I agree with Ann. This is a great initiative and all supermarkets should stock and market more Portuguese products. Each of us can make a difference by buying home-grown and home-made goods, which helps the economy.
