Starting on 29 August in Miami, USA, the tour will take Madonna through 30 different locations in the US, Porto Rico, Canada and Europe, where she will be staging concerts in Germany, the UK, the Czech Republic, Italy and Spain. The singer has a concert scheduled for Barcelona on 24 November.
However, when contacted by Lusa News Agency, promoter Nuno Brancaamp, who brought Madonna to Coimbra in 2012, said “in principal she won’t be coming” this time around.
Rebel Heart is the star’s 13th studio album and is to be released next week, on 10 March, even though many of the songs are already available on the internet albeit without the singer’s permission.
Madonna’s last tour, the M.D.N.A tour, took place in 2012 and included 70 countries, Portugal (Coimbra) among them, and took more than €173 million.
