The current minimum limit for unemployment benefits corresponds to the value of the Social Support Index (IAS), which this year is €438,81, but which should be updated based on inflation in 2021.
Currently, the minimum amount of unemployment benefit is 100 percent of IAS unless the net value of the reference remuneration is less than this amount €438.81.
The difference to the minimum wage is striking for me. Shouldn't there be a larger gap between the minimum pay for a full time job compared to what you get for doing nothing?
