The districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria and Lisbon will be under the weather warning between 12pm today and 6am on Tuesday with waves between five and six metres in height predicted along the coast a reaching up to 10 metres in some cases.
The IPMA also warned that the districts of Setúbal, Beja and Faro are under a yellow weather warning until 6am on Wednesday, also due to predicted high waves.
