Petrol rises by 1.9 cents per litre and diesel by 2 cents per litre, while gas price increases fluctuate between 6.4 and 11.5 cents per kilo.
In January, liquid fuel prices had already risen by 0.7 (gasoline) and 3.6 (diesel) cents.
At the beginning of 2025, the price of gas, which has not changed since July 2021, has increased by between 7.8 and 78 cents per kilo.
As of February 1st, petrol will cost 1.549 euros per litre in the Azores, 1.9 cents more than the previous month, while diesel will cost 1.479 euros per litre (two cents more).
Butane gas sold to the public, at the retailer's establishment, in cylinders of 26 liters or more, now costs €1.892 per kilo, 6.4 cents more than in the previous month.
Butane gas sold in 24-litre cylinders, made of lightweight materials (up to eight kilos of containers), rises 11.5 cents, to €2.088 per kilo.
The maximum prices of petroleum and energy products in the Azores are "changed on the 1st of each month and in amounts equivalent to the variation in the monthly European Price (PE) value".
