Four people were injured on Monday (23 September), one of them seriously, following the incident on Avenida 24 de Julho, near number 58, in the Santos area.

In a statement, the PJ reports that the man is suspected of six homicide crimes in the attempted form as he was driving “swiftly against”, and “attacked a group of six people who were at the door of a fun night time establishment.”

"As a result of the act, four of these people were affected, three of whom suffered minor injuries and the fourth very serious injury that led to their hospitalization and urgent surgical intervention, which was also life-threatening," the note said.

PJ adds that the reasons for this incident could be related to a discussion between the suspect, the security guards and various customers of the nightlife space.

In a statement, the KREMLIN nightclub established that “there is no evidence” confirming that the driver responsible for the hit was inside the space, adding that “there was no expulsion from the disco at night or dawn that caused the episode, contrary to what has been aired”.

“At the time of the incident, KREMLIN was already closed,” said the facility's management, noting that “it has not yet been contacted by any authority to request clarification or video surveillance images to help the investigation."

The detainee will be present for the first judicial interrogation, in which the appropriate coercive measures will be applied to him.
