In a statement, police said organisers had tried to receive the necessary licensing but this was denied.
The event saw more than 200 people gather at the venue, with the location only being revealed 12 hours before it was due to start on social media
These people should be kept under mandatory quarantine for 14 days. Algarve is trying to clear the infection, tourism is hit, people lost their incomes and these people are after partying and creating a new peak like the previous party in Lagos. Respect to the efforts of the people and the government.
