The source said that the Piornos/Torre and Torre/Lagoa Comprida roads were closed to traffic on Tuesday, and there is still no indication of when they may reopen.
The Portuguese weather service (IPMA) forecast heavy cloud, showers, sometimes heavy and lightning for Tuesday with snow over high ground into Wednesday morning.
