Friday, 20th May 2020 signals the start of a new season but the weather for the weekend is looking decidedly un-spring-like.

Rain, in places heavy, is forecast for much of Portugal over the coming days, coupled with another drop in temperatures, which are not expected to exceed 18 degrees.

Spring officially started at 3.50am this morning and lasts 92.7 days until the summer solstice starts at 10.44pm on 20 June.
