Algarve Tourism Board launches campaign to help SMEs

The Algarve Tourism Board (RTA) and the Algarve Tourism Association (ATA) have launched a campaign in Portuguese and English to disseminate and clarify what measures are being brought in by the Government and National Tourism Board to support companies in Algarve tourism sector

The measures relate in particular to Small and Medium Business, (SMEs), to help them through economic problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s great, although essential, that businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic are being helped by the government.

But what about the workers?

I cannot find any information on what help the Portuguese government is offering to the many thousands of restaurant, hotel and bar workers, amongst many others, who are now out of work and being told to stay at home.

Thank you for posting this information. I am seeing many articles saying there is support out there from SS for my employees, banks and Turismo de Portugal but I just can't seem to find anywhere to actually apply for help for my Unipessoal LDA.
