As preparations are underway for the last of the three events scheduled for Lisbon under the contract that allows for a further two summits, the director said talks were being held with several other cities about where the next events would be held.
The organisers expect to welcome about 70,000 people to the third Lisbon Web Summit to be held once again at Lisbon’s Parque das Nações between 5 and 8 November, 10,000 more than in 2017 and ensured there would be conditions for all of them.
Harvey also said more countries would be represented and he expected more than 170 nationalities to be present in Lisbon.
