Payment of IMI property tax started in May, with the issuance of 4,009,718 settlement notes, of which 895,969 were worth less than 100 euros, thus generating a single payment note.

For the rest, the payment is divided into two or three instalments, to be paid in May and November or May, August and November, if their value is between, respectively, 100 and 500 euros or exceeds 500 euros.

According to an official source at AT this year (for IMI for 2021) a total of 580,811 settlement notes worth more than 100 euros were paid in full in May, on time.

This number represents an increase of 3.85% compared to those who last year used this option to pay the Municipal Property Tax in a single payment.
