Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag has once again reinforced
that Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo will not leave the English football
club, despite many rumours surrounding his future.
"It's clear that Cristiano is part of my plans. We need
quality players in every game", declared the Dutchman at a press
conference.
Ten Hag was asked about the continuity of the forward, who has
started in just one of the four games in the League so far, at a time when the
press has been pointing out, for months, the dissatisfaction of the star for
not playing in the Champions League.
Despite speculation, the coach says that "the transfer
window will close like this" on Thursday, keeping "this squad at
least for September until January".
