The National Republican Guard (GNR) inspected 37,775 drivers between April 17th and 23rd in an operation that resulted in 4,363 speeding offenses.

These were the results of the 'RoadPol – Speed' operation, aimed at controlling excessive speed, one of the main causes of accidents.
In a statement, the GNR states that 10,453 administrative offense notices were passed, the most numerous being those related to speeding - the objective of this operation.
This operation took place within the scope of the European Traffic Police Network (RoadPol), of which the GNR has been a member since 2021.

Never mind speeding carmras force the Police to do a proper job. Went to the algarve with car passing on The A22 at increadabel speeds no Police seen on the road at all. Crassey
