A photo of the cottage was posted in a Facebook group by a Mr. Pakie Normoyle, who said one would “have to see it in person for a greater detail of what was done. This picture just shows half the work”.
The cottage has a quaint thatched roof, and the seashells make up various patterns. Above the door is a mosaic of The Mexico, a ship that crashed ashore on one of the Keeragh Islands off the Wexford coast in 1914.
Also featured on the cottage is a mosaic of Tuskar Rock on the front wall of the house.
