Thermometers could reach 37ºC in Castelo Branco, Évora and Beja. In Faro, the maximum temperature is 36ºC; in Portalegre, Setúbal and Santarém, the maximum will be 34ºC and in Bragança 32ºC.

However in some parts of the Algarve the thermometers are to hit 40 degrees, including in Alcoutim.


In Lisbon and Vila Real, 31ºC is the maximum, while the thermometers in Braga, Viseu and Coimbra should not exceed 30ºC. Below this mark are Sines and Guarda (29ºC); Sagres and Leiria (28ºC); Viana do Castelo and Porto (25ºC); Aveiro (24ºC).

On the islands, the maximum expected temperature is 29ºC, in Funchal, followed by Porto Santo (26ºC), Ponta Delgada and Horta (25ºC) and Angra do Heroísmo and Santa Cruz das Flores (24ºC).
