The median value of bank appraisals for housing was set at 1,810 euros per square meter (m2) in February, an increase of 16% compared to the same month last year and 36 euros (2%) more than in January.
According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE), the most significant increase was recorded in the Setúbal Peninsula (17.1%), and there was no decrease.
In February, around 35,100 bank assessments were carried out, representing a 0.5% drop compared to the previous month and a 23.9% increase year-on-year.
