In July alone, income from tourism activity was 754 million euros, 10.6% more than in July last year, and overnight stays amounted to 8.8 million, 1.5% more year-on-year.
According to INE, “returns from tourist activity are on a downward trend”, as increases are smaller than previously.

James, why would they? Northern wind will eventually push all the litter to the sea. It's cheaper and better for public spending balance sheet, and anyway all the garbage will end up being collected at the desalination water plants.
