According to ECO, the well-known fashion designer Christian Louboutin is once again betting on Portugal for new tourist developments. The French-born millionaire will build another boutique hotel in Melides, in the municipality of Grândola, after opening the Vermelho Hotel in March.
According to Jornal de Negócios, the new development will be located 500 meters from the beach and close to the lagoon, with a total of eight rooms. The construction has already had the "green light" from the Municipality of Grândola and the construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2024.
The building now purchased by Christian Louboutin had been unfinished for about four decades. The value of the acquisition was not revealed, but, taking into account the prices charged, writes the same newspaper, it should not have been less than two million euros.
