According to thelocal.se new figures reveal that the number of children born per woman is the lowest it has been since the 1970s.

Since January around 77,000 children have been born in Sweden, compared to the same period last year this is a decrease of 5.3%. When compared to the same period over the last 10 years the decrease is over 12 percent.
