According to Notícias ao Minuto, petrol is expected to be 1.5 cents cheaper, while the price of diesel is expected to remain the same, with room for a half-cent reduction.

These predictions come at a time when simple diesel costs €1.624/litre and simple petrol 95 costs €1.689/litre, according to data from the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).

These average daily prices are "calculated based on prices communicated by gas stations, weighted with the quantities sold in the last known period, incorporating discounts offered at gas stations such as fleet cards and others".
