The 79th edition of the Spanish Vuelta a España, an annual multi-stage bicycle race primarily held in Spain, was presented yesterday afternoon.

Next year it will start in Portugal on August 17th.
Portugal will be the backdrop for the first three stages of La Vuelta 2024, the first between Lisbon and Oeiras; the second connecting Cascais to Ourém, and the third between Lousã and Castelo Branco.
The race starts on August 17th in Lisbon and ends on September 8th in Madrid for a total of 3,261 km.
