Auchan has clarified today that it decided to close its stores on Easter Sunday in response to workers' requests, adjusting shifts so that everyone has time off on the day.

"Auchan clarifies that it took the decision to close the stores on Easter Sunday, adjusting the employees' rest days to respond to their request to spend Easter with their family".
The company assured that all employees will have one day off on Easter Sunday and another during the same week, "in accordance with what is legally established".
