“As the no.1 airline in Faro, Ryanair is delighted to operate the first flight on our new summer route from Faro to Krakow, this Monday, 1 April”, reads a statement from the airline.
Ryanair's operation between Faro and Krakow has four flights per week and is one of the airline's highlights for this summer, along with the other three new routes that the air carrier also announced for Faro and which will connect the Algarve capital to Budapest, in Hungary; Marrakesh, in Morocco; and Norwich, in the United Kingdom.
According to Ryanair, the city of Krakow, located in southern Poland, is “a beacon of Polish culture and history, boasting a stunning fusion between medieval architecture and dynamic modern life”.

In addition to the new routes announced for this summer, Ryanair will operate a total of 49 routes at Faro Airport, throughout the high season.
