The Minister of National Defense, Nuno Melo, has confirmed that the visit of the President of Ukraine to Portugal “is being prepared”, without providing further details about the date.

“The visit is being prepared and we will see, in a very short time, how everything will happen”, he told journalists.
Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Portugal was announced on Monday by SIC, which said that the Ukrainian head of state will also travel to Spain to sign bilateral security agreements.
Spanish government sources told Efe that Zelensky will visit the country “in the next few days” to sign an agreement with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
