According to IPMA, the orange warning, the second most serious, will be active until 21:00 pm today in these six districts.

Under yellow warning, also due to rain and thunderstorms, are the districts of Viana do Castelo, Leiria, Portalegre, and Castelo Branco (until 21:00), Évora, Beja and Faro (until 18:00).

According to forecasts, the worsening of weather conditions will continue until Sunday, due to the action of a depression centered west of the Iberian Peninsula which will move northeast from Saturday, thus causing a progressive improvement in the state of the time.

For Saturday, technicians already expect a significant worsening of the weather, with precipitation still occurring, especially in the north and central regions, but with less intensity than in previous days, with no precipitation expected from Sunday onwards.

A drop in temperature is also expected until Saturday, with a gradual recovery from Sunday onwards, in line with the improvement in the weather.

For today, the IPMA predicts showers, which will be locally strong, with hail and accompanied by thunderstorms, as well as a drop in the maximum temperature.
