For this Monday, 12 August, the IPMA predicts that temperatures will reach 35ºC in Castelo Branco, 34ºC in Évora, 33ºC in Beja and Faro and 31ºC in Bragança, Vila Real, Santarém and Setúbal.

In Lisbon, maximum temperatures should not exceed 28ºC and in Porto 25ºC.

On Tuesday, August 13, temperatures will drop a little further, not exceeding 31ºC (Castelo Branco, Évora and Faro).

In Lisbon, the IPMA predicts that maximum temperatures will not exceed 26ºC and in Porto, 23ºC. Rain is even forecast for Viana do Castelo (with 22ºC).

On Wednesday, August 14, we will start to get a taste of what is to come, with a slight rise in temperatures, returning to a maximum of 35ºC in Castelo Branco, 34ºC in Évora, 33ºC in Beja, Portalegre and Faro and 31ºC in Bragança, Vila Real, Santarém and Setúbal.

On August 15, the public holiday to mark Assumption of Our Lady, temperatures are expected to reach at least 37ºC in Évora and 36ºC in Santarém.

The IPMA predicts maximum temperatures of 31ºC for Lisbon and 27ºC for Porto, a trend that will continue until the end of the week.

In the Azores, temperatures will be higher than "normal" for the region, as has been the case throughout the summer this year, reaching 30ºC in all groups, all week.

In Madeira, temperatures will vary between 28ºC and 29ºC.
