The sky will be cloudy with high clouds, while in the autonomous regions, it will continue to rain.
For Wednesday, April 9, the IPMA predicts temperatures more usual in August. Braga, Coimbra and Leiria should reach 29ºC, Viana do Castelo, Porto and Santarém at 28ºC, and Aveiro and Setúbal at 27ºC.
In Lisbon, the maximum temperature should be 25ºC, as well as in Évora and Faro, 24ºC. The sky, in turn, will remain cloudy, with some clouds.
For the Azores, the IPMA predicts rain for all islands except Flores and Corvo, with temperatures ranging from a maximum of 18ºC to a minimum of 12ºC. In Madeira, where the showers continue, temperatures are expected to rise to 21ºC and fall to 14ºC.
Despite the heat at the beginning of the week, from Thursday onwards, temperatures will drop again and rain will return throughout the country.
According to meteorologists, everything indicates that the week leading up to Easter will be very wet and cool and there is even a possibility that, during the festive season, there will be snow in Serra da Estrela.
