Cristiano Ronaldo has already received an award from Guinness World Records for the most goals scored in international football matches.

Called “UR Cristiano”, the launch of Cristiano Ronaldo’s channel was accompanied by the publication of 11 videos focusing on the footballer’s personality and interests. In its initial phase, it garnered around one million subscribers per hour, and three hours after its launch it already had three million subscribers.

The most-watched video, had almost 47 million views. It shows the reaction of the Portuguese footballer’s children when he presented them with the award he received for being the fastest channel in YouTube history to reach the one million subscriber milestone.

“YouTube’s dream partnership with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has been a labour of love and dedication. And watching his channel explode is pure gold! This is just the kickoff to an epic adventure, and we are ready for the ride. Many congratulations to Cristiano and his team! And let's keep those SUUUUUUUUBSCRIPTIONS growing”, says Pedro Pina, YouTube's vice-president for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, quoted in a statement.

In addition to YouTube, the Al-Nassr player also has the largest number of followers on Instagram (637 million), having become the first person to reach the 500 million follower mark on this social network, in November 2022.

The Portuguese star also has around 170 million followers on Facebook and 112 million on X (formerly Twitter), which means he has almost reached the one billion follower mark on his social networks.
