This is the 11th edition, which features a program with several shows and initiatives, that seeks, once again, to frame music in the landscape, monumental and tourist heritage of this municipality.

In addition to names such as Duo Guirimbadu and Trevor Babajack, the festival promises new features such as two major initiatives sponsored by DGArtes.

One of them is the exhibition «Músicas de Ver», with a culturally valuable presentation dedicated to the theme “Lutes of the World”, which will take place from September 21 to November 3, at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium.

On 1 October – World Music Day – also at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, and to close the 11th Lagoa International Guitar Festival – the show that will take to the stage is «Irish Celtic Night», “Uma Noite Celta”.

Tickets cost 10 euros (20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2023 Passport, available at the Lagoa Municipality ticket offices) and are already on sale at Bilheteira Online, at the CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Centro Cultural Convento de S. José and Balcão Único of the Lagoa Municipal Council.

The 11th Lagoa International Guitar Festival is organised by the Lagoa Municipal Council, in co-production with the Algarve Guitar Association.
