The Lisbon bar, Red Frog is once again on the list of The World's 50 Best Bars. The second half of the list of awards has been revealed, highlighting positions 100 and 51, with the Portuguese bar in the 94th position.
Red Frog is once again the only Portuguese representative in this half of the list. In 2021, it was ranked 67th and the following year it rose to 40th. In 2023, it dropped a few places to 88th.
In 2024, it dropped again (94th position) but remains among the best. The first half of The World’s 50 Best Bars list will be announced on October 22, in Madrid, Spain.
"Being among the best bars in the world since 2017 has been a continuous source of motivation to keep Red Frog in the top 100", says Paulo Gomes, co-founder of Red Frog, in a statement.
"The growing presence of bars, especially in Asia, shows that mixology is constantly changing, which inspires us to continue evolving. We maintain innovation as a priority, without ever losing our identity, and this recognition is proof that our experimental work continues on the right track".
The Red Frog is located in Praça da Alegria, in Lisbon.
