The third edition of the Algarve dance festival will take place in Lagos, with a new feature this year being “artistic residencies, which aim to create lasting bonds between artists and the community”, artistic director Joana Flor Duarte told Lusa.
The director stressed that Pedra Dura aims to “awaken minds a little”.
With a total of 37 cultural activities over two weeks, “the activities complement each other, covering the entire community”, she noted.
“We have specific activities for schools, others aimed more at families, but, ultimately, it is a festival that all age groups can be involved in”, she stressed.
