Nazaré fire under control

The command of the National Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) received the alert at 10 am, with the fire having started in a bush area in Serra da Pescaria.

As there are houses in the vicinity of the fire, protective measures were taken, although there is currently no longer any risk to these houses and their inhabitants, the same source added.

The fire was fought by 96 operators, supported by 28 vehicles and is currently under control since 1 pm.
