António and Fradique Mendes Ferreira were born in 1992 and 1987 in São João dos Angolares, in the south of São Tomé and Príncipe, where they grew up. They have accumulated millions of views and listens on online platforms. They also have more than one million followers on social media.

They also lived in France before moving to Portugal.

With over 15 years in the music industry, they have released six studio albums. These are: “Ni Mondja Anguené” (2010), “Bomu Kêlê” (2014), “A nossa vez” (2017), “Yellow” (2020), “Voyage - Part II” (2024), and “Voyage - Part III”.

In 2019, they released the album “Ao vivo no Campo Pequeno”.

In 2023, they recorded the single “Maria Joana” with singers Nuno Ribeiro and Mariza. The song reached millions of views on streaming platforms. It won the PLAY - Portuguese Music Award for Song of the Year, the only category whose winner is chosen by the public.

In April of this year, at the 8th edition of PLAY, they won the Best Group award for the fourth consecutive year.

In 2021, they founded the Bomu Kêlê Association (meaning "Believe"), whose mission is to promote education as a tool to empower children and young people toward a dignified, more promising future.

In May of last year, they signed an agreement with the municipality of Seixal, where they currently live, to develop the Aldeia da Música project, a space for support and mentoring of emerging artists and bands in the municipality.
