Among the agreements which the government has gone back on are deals to operate the Lisbon Metro, bus services in Lisbon and Oporto, and the Tagus River ferry crossing.


The government said it would not pay any damages to the entities with which terms had been agreed to by the previous government, but said their deposits would be returned.
