In a statement sent to Lusa, the PJ explains that at the time of the arrest the man “was preparing to flee” and that the crime was sighted as one of passion.

“The accused was disagreeing with the new relationship of the former partner, approached the couple and stabbed the 46-year-old man several times, causing several injuries, one of which hit the heart”.

The detainee will be presented to the competent judicial authorities for the first interrogation of the accused detainee and application of enforcement measures.
