"In April 2019, the unemployment rate stood at 6.6%, higher than the previous month by 0.1 percentage points, equal to three months before and 0.5 percentage points lower than the same month of 2018," INE said.
The rate in April represented a downward revision of 0.1 percentage points of the provisional estimate disclosed a month ago.
