To enjoy this parking perk, people need to reside in the municipality, have the ‘Viver Cascais’ card and use the ‘MobiCascais’ App.

"From this Monday, October 24th, 100 minutes of free parking are available daily to use when going to Mercado da Vila, visiting Casa das Histórias Paula Rego and other cultural facilities in the county, visiting Casa da Guia, Boca do Inferno, or to the beach (except Alameda Duquesa de Palmela), to the CUF Hospital, or to any other place in Limited Duration Parking Areas except the red axis", reads the statement from the Cascais City Council.

The 100 free minutes "cannot be combined [with other benefits in force], but are renewed every day" and it is possible that they are "divided between different vehicles, as long as they are registered in the name of the beneficiary", the note also refers.

The Cascais City Council offer has no end date. But this 'offer' is not valid in the red zones.
