According to the same source, the alert was given at around 10:47am for an incident in Alameda das Comunidades Portuguesas, in Lisbon, where Humberto Delgado airport is located.

Meanwhile, the Public Security Police (PSP) created a large security perimeter in the arrivals area of ​​Lisbon Airport, after the man climbed to the roof.

A police source told Lusa that the man has Brazilian nationality, was refused entry to Portugal and was in the international zone of Lisbon airport.

The same source said that negotiators from the Special Police Unit were at Lisbon airport to speak to the man, clarifying that he was not detained in a space equivalent to the airport's Temporary Installation Center.
