The food basket now costs 237.59 euros, which means an increase of more than 4.13 euros (+1.77%) compared to last week.
According to calculations by the consumer protection organization, the basket value is now 1.55 euros higher than that recorded at the beginning of the year.
Between the 6th and 13th of March, the products that rose the most in price were fresh fish (23%), cereals (12%), turkey legs (11%), roasted ground coffee (11%), tuna in olive oil (10%), black swordfish (9%), liquid yogurt (9%), flamengo cheese (9%), cooked beans (9%) and tomato pulp (6% ).
