Sunday started mild in the North and Center regions and warm in the South region, conditioned by an "anticyclone located in the Azores region, which extends in a ridge to the Iberian Peninsula".

However, the good weather does not seem to want to stay, starting "to weaken in the afternoon, allowing the approach of a frontal system, which will affect the weather on the 13th", reports the Instituto Português do Mar and Atmosphere (IPMA), in a statement.

The IPMA states that the "maximum temperature will range between 18 and 25°C in the North and Center regions and between 24 and 30°C in the South", this Sunday.

During the early hours of the 12th to 13th, the night will be humid, "although no precipitation is expected". "The wind will generally be weak from the northwest and the temperature will vary between 15°C (early evening) and 12°C (early morning)."

On Monday, the 13th, the forecast is for rain for the North and Center regions. "The wind will be from the northwest up to 30 km/h, blowing more intensely (up to 40 km/h) in the highlands".
