After Tuesday’s 4-2 victory over Finland, Roberto Martinez and his Portugal side will only really be playing for match sharpness. However, some fringe players could make their case to be starting in Portugal’s first match in Germany against the Czech Republic.

Croatia, who reached the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup in 2022, beat North Macedonia 3-0 in Rijeka in their last friendly match last Monday. For Saturday’s game, it is unlikely that Croatia’s talisman Luka Modric will play after winning the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid last Saturday.

Kick-off at the Estadio do Jomar is at 5:45pm.
