According to IPMA forecasts, the worsening of weather conditions will continue until Sunday 30 June, due to the action of a depression centered west of the Iberian Peninsula which will move northeast from Saturday 29 June.

From this afternoon, showers are expected to occur in the northern interior, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms, most likely in mountain areas.

Tomorrow (27 June) instability will be more widespread from the afternoon onwards in the interior of the northern and central regions, with precipitation being at times heavy, accompanied by thunder, occasionally in the form of hail, as well as the possibility of strong gusts occurring locally.

This situation will continue throughout the day on Friday, extending to the entire continental territory, this being the day on which the IPMA predicts the greatest severity of the weather.

A significant deterioration in the weather is to be expected on Saturday, with precipitation still occurring in the north and central regions, but with less intensity than in previous days, with no precipitation expected from Sunday onwards.

A drop in temperature is also expected until Saturday, with a gradual recovery from Sunday, following the improvement in the weather.

Due to this meteorological situation, warnings have already been issued for the next few days.
