Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Turkey, England and Switzerland remain in the final eight.

Spain vs Germany

Spain – who have arguably been the best team in this year’s tournament will take on hosts Germany in the first quarter-final on Friday at 5pm in the Stuttgart Arena.

Portugal vs France

Portugal vs France will end Friday’s inevitable drama at 8pm at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg. Both teams have flattered to deceive in this competition as both seemed favourites prior to the beginning of the tournament. Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to open his account and will look to bring Portugal to the semi-finals like he did in 2016.

England vs Switzerland

England will hope that talent such as Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane can continue to contribute like they have done so far in this tournament. They will take on a tricky Swiss side that knocked out holders Italy in the Last 16. Kick-off in Dusseldorf is at 5pm.

Netherlands vs Turkey

Ronald Koeman’s Netherlands will look to replicate his country's victory in the European Championships in 1988 in Germany as they take on Turkey. They come into the game after knocking out Romania – however, Turkey has had a wonderful campaign so far. The Turks will offer the Dutch a stubborn test.
