Eleven districts of mainland Portugal will be under an orange warning between today and Wednesday due to the forecast of hot weather, the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) indicated this morning.

The districts of Évora, Setúbal, Santarém, Beja, and Portalegre will be under orange warning between 9am today and 6pm on Wednesday, IPMA said in a statement.
The districts of Bragança, Viseu, Guarda, Vila Real, Castelo Branco, and Braga will be under an orange warning between 09:00 on Tuesday and 18:00 on Wednesday.
The orange warning (the second highest) is issued by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere when there is a meteorological situation of moderate to high risk.
