After the alert was raised, and in coordination with the Captain of the Port of Portimão, various rescue resources were used to rescue the man, according to NM.
Due to the difficulty of accessing the site, as it is a 30-metre high rock, it was necessary to engage the Portuguese Air Force helicopter, EH-101, which at around 9 pm rescued the individual who disembarked at the Aérodromo de Portimão.
