Like Tuesday, the affected districts include Lisbon and Faro, with the weather warning remaining in place until 3pm this afternoon because of heavy rain and thunder.
The yellow weather warning is the third highest on a scale of four, and indicates a risk to certain activities that are weather-dependent. A
ccording to the national Met Office the rain is here to stay another 24 hours and should start clearing up from tomorrow.
The unseasonably wet weather saw hailstone fall yesterday evening in some spots in the Algarve.
Once again, the yellow weather warning is second on a scale of four - not the third !
