The notices are valid between noon and 9pm today, and the same period on Monday.

The IPMA predicts the occurrence of “downpours, sometimes heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms and strong gusts, which may be in the form of hail” in the six districts.

In the general forecast for today, the IPMA predicts “showers, sometimes heavy and accompanied by thunder and gusts of strong wind in the Center and South regions, more likely in the South region”

The IPMA also anticipates a “small decrease in the maximum temperature in the South region and a small rise in the North and Center regions”, with a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius (ºC) in Braga and a minimum of six degrees in Guarda.
